We began in June of 2004 with the goal of bringing the best auto extended warranty plans to the consumer through the nontraditional channels of the internet. This extensive experience led to knowing that we wanted to share our collective experience with the consumer and so we began writing for what is now the Warranty Watchman, an expert and independent organization whose mission is to lead a fair and honest information campaign regarding auto-extended-warranty-programs.

We’ve seen nearly every possible situation and customer circumstance in the vehicle extended warranty business, and we feel the information we’ve learned can be a great benefit for those interested in purchasing an auto extended warranty.

Our team of auto-extended-warranty experts have over 30 years experience in the industry and have represented auto warranty companies such as CNA, All-State, Protective and the Universal Warranty Company among others. We have worked closely with auto dealers for many years, training sales employees in ethical selling practices and monitoring extended warranty claims in dealership service departments for smoothness of operation.
